Love Notes
Erica has been our family photographer for years doing pregnancy and family photos. I'm always seeking something special in our family memories, and that she consistently delivers it. I love the way she artistically plays with light to create beautiful photos. She also makes the sessions relaxed and fun. This is important because I’m uncomfortable in front of a camera and resistant to anything “corny” in couple or family shots. She knows this and for certain shots she preps me by saying “this is going to feel corny but just trust me”. I do trust her, and the results are always gorgeous. Instead of being the cliché family portraits I’m afraid of, she skillfully captures the love and laughter of our family that feels both authentic and magical at the same time. She even got photos of my 3 year old smiling and looking into the camera (how?!?!), She always manages to capture the most special moments and we will treasure our photos forever. I would highly recommend Erica!

Everybody has that birthday that depresses them, I think. Mine was 35 and I decided to grieve the loss of my youth with a photoshoot. Erica was the perfect photographer—amazing with the camera and comfortable with my discomfort. She told me to put on way too much make-up, wear my hottest ginch, and layer on the most glam looking clothes I could find. As someone who always seems to have my bad side to the camera, she made me feel (and look) gorgeous. I stood in very pointy brush in nothing but my skeevies, layed on cold rocks with a veil over my eyes, and felt invincible. When Erica sent me the photos, I knew I was seeing my truest self.
